To celebrate the Royal Wedding, Vermilion Restaurant is 
proud to offer an exclusive 5 course set menu influenced by our 
Anglo - Asian relations. This menu will be prepared by the highest 
standards Vermilion is known for using only the most fresh and 
high quality ingredients.

Come and join us on the 29th of April for this special set menu which  
includes a majestic red carpet entrance, complimentary glass 
of champagne to toast the happy couple, screening of the 
Royal Wedding in our Abacus Gallery and a goody bag 
sponsored by Molton Brown, London. Then enjoy a special 
western - eastern influenced signature cocktail menu at 
Cinnabar Lounge with DJs playing the best in lounge and 
world music.

Priced at £27.50 per person this 5 course set menu will be
available for one day only on Friday the 29th of April 2011 from
12 noon - 2.30pm and 5pm - 10.30pm

Welcome glass of Champagne
Appetizer
Poppadum Platter 
Thin, crispy Indian appetizer served with a variety of chopped 
onions, chutney and mint sauce
Starters
Achari Chicken Tikka 
Fresh chicken marinated in yoghurt and spices and then 
threaded onto skewers and cooked in a traditional clay oven
Lamb Seekh Kebab 
Finely minced fresh British lamb nicely marinated with ginger 
garlic,choped onions and delicate spices, then cooked in clay 
oven and served with mint and yoghurt sauce
Fish Pakora 
A truly mouth watering Indian snack of batter fried fish fillets 
marinated with turmeric and light seasonings
Vegetarian Punjabi Samosa 
Mixed vegetables sizzled with cumin, chillies and spices. Then 
filled into a homemade triangle pastry and deep fried till crispy
Onion Bhaji 
A spicy Indian snack made with onions in batter of gram flour, 
spices and herbs, then fried until golden.
Main Course
Chicken Tikka Masala 
A classic British favourite. Rich and creamy dish of chicken 
in a masala gravy made with ground cashew nuts and almonds.
Jhinga Rogan josh 
A Kashmiri dish made with King Prawns highly spiced by the 
use of dried red Kashmiri chillies.
Palak Paneer 
Fresh spinach cooked with fresh and delicate Indian cottage 
cheese "Paneer" slowly cooked with spices, herbs, ginger and garlic
Lamb Biryani 
Baked basmati rice, layered with spiced lamb – first originated 
in the Moghul cuisine of the 16th-19th centuries. It was a festive 
dish, costly to prepare and eaten mainly in the royal courts.

Dessert
Gulab Jamun 
An Indian version of donuts made of cottage cheese 
immeresed in the warm sweet syrup served with 
Movenpick vanilla ice cream
Tea
Masala Chai 
"Traditional spiced tea" Masala Chai is a beverage 
from the Indian subcontinent made by brewing tea 
with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs

Easter 2011 at Vermilion






Join us at Vermilion for a festive Easter including 
Delectable set menus, Brunch Buffet with 46 different 
dishes, Red Snapper Carvery, Face Painting and 
Mr Rumple, The Clown.
To celebrate Easter, Vermilion’s Master Chef has 
created a festive signature Easter Set Menu 
from Friday (22nd April) to Monday (25th April), 
which includes a welcome Bellini Champagne cocktail

Easter Sunday 
The Master Chef has also created a special Easter Sunday
sumptuous Buffet Brunch with a variety of 46 different
Thai & Indian dishes, including a delectable Red 
Snapper Carvery, from 12pm till 4pm at £14.95 per person.
Easter Sunday will also include fun activities for kids such
as Face Painting and a Magic & Comedy 
performance from Mr Rumple, The Clown.
